Creative Healing Connections is a non-profit 501(c)3 and all money raised supports our mission of providing healing experiences for people seeking comfort and support with their wellness journey.
Our main focus is offering retreats each year for women (and women veterans) in the Adirondack region suffering from chronic illness and cancer. All of the money raised at this event helps us provide these retreats at little or no cost to the women who need it most.

2026 Honoree: Diana Trim

We are proud to honor Diana Trim of Saranac Lake, a dedicated nurse, devoted wife of 33 years, and proud mother. Diana became a nurse in 1998 after caring for her father during his battle with oral cancer—an experience that inspired her lifelong commitment to compassionate healthcare. Throughout her career, she has served patients in OB/GYN, Family Practice, Infertility, and Gastrointestinal care.

In 2012, after advocating for herself when something didn’t feel right, Diana was diagnosed with Stage 3 ER/PR Positive Breast Cancer. Following chemotherapy, radiation, and three surgeries, she is now cancer free. Her journey profoundly shaped her approach to nursing, reinforcing her belief that the most important diagnostic tool in any room is a patient’s voice. We are honored to celebrate her resilience, compassion, and unwavering dedication to others.
