How we began

In 1999, a group of Adirondack citizens joined together to offer the first annual Adirondack Arts and Healing Retreat for women with cancer and chronic illness. This retreat originally operated as a program hosted by Great Camp Sagamore. Over the course of ten years the idea took off. Our staff expanded, we were able to increase our offerings, and more and more women discovered the unique benefits provided by these opportunities to connect. In 2008, our organization incorporated as Creative Healing Connections, Inc.
The mission of Creative Healing Connections, Inc. is to provide creative experiences to promote healing and growth. Our goal is to provide these experiences directly through our own programs and indirectly through training and inspiring others to do the same.
Today Creative Healing Connections, Inc. hosts a variety of
arts and healing retreats :
Women with Cancer or Chronic Illness
